An Excess of Tea.

I've consumed so much Tazo Passion tea in the past week that I'm half expecting myself to turn magenta. I've also been doing a lot of writing and compiling of all my facts and such into one place lately, just to make sure that my timeline makes sense and all that. By the way, if you're a writer who intends on eventually publishing as well, I highly, highly recommend the program Scrivener. It's super effective, though it costs a bit of money.

Speaking of novels, I really would like to meet other novelists on dA! If you are writing a novel, especially a fantasy one, (or even better a fantasy for kids/young adults,) I would absolutely love to talk with you. I've recently joined Figment, an online writers community, but I am always so paranoid about putting my actual writing online, so I'm not going to do that. First of all, I wouldn't want to ruin any surprises, and secondly, the idea of any writing or ideas being stolen actually kind of gives me a panic stomachache. For now I'll keep to writing in my Moleskine and then transferring it into Scrivener.

A lot of my stuff was put on hold this weekend because a lot of things unfortunately went down here in the world of college that took me away from drawing, but on the plus side my friends and I got the 240 house, which is basically an independent, cottage-style dorm that houses twelve girls on campus. It's pretty much the best, and as it's me and all my best friends living there it should be super awesome.

In terms of the art world, you can expect some more Potter-related art, as well as some other random stuff thrown in here and there! Feel free to comment regarding things you'd like to see, even though I can't make promises I'll try to see what I can do! Now that this hell-weekend is over, I'm getting back on track with commissions and such. What a start to April. Ugh. On the plus side, less than a month left until I can sit next to an electric fan and read The Great Gatsby on repeat! Hooray for summer. I'm just super stressed right now.
