No, I am not Dead!
Sorry for the long absence! I was road tripping to Colorado to do family stuff and visit one of my best friends! It was suuuuper fun, but now I am back and my book is going better than ever (thank you long hours in the car to sit and think and write...) and I am seriously ready to get back and do more art! Thank you all for the amazing comments and favorites and watches while I was away, I very much appreciate them! I wish I could have gotten back to you all sooner. Lately I've been reading all the children's fantasy novels that I can to familiarize myself with the genre I'm in, which is also fun. I'm mostly a classic literature fan, but drag
Going Darkside
Some of you may have noticed that my most recent work as of now (Seven Devils) is a lot darker than much of my previous art. Well, I've been looking at my gallery a lot lately, and I'm not totally happy with what I see. While I do love bright colors and such, honestly it's not what I usually focus my art on. My intentions for this summer are to write, draw, and read Great Gatsby until I drop. So far, so good.
I apologize because I promised new artworks last week, but then I realized that I really would rather be spending time with my friends, who I won't be seeing for several months. But there will be new artworks soon. I'm hoping to improve a
And Now for Something Completely Different.
So yesterday afternoon I got this insane idea into my head, which went something like
(3 papers due) x (6 pages per paper) at a rate of 1 page / hour (which would be slow if I wasn't writing about Ibn Khaldûn and the Muqaddimah...) = 18 hours of straight work until I can be on break. So I decided to do them all, even though most of them aren't due until late next week. I worked from about 2:45 pm straight until 4:30 am, then took a sleep break until 7:30, and worked until noon, then revised and edited, etc, etc. Meaning I am done now, and also about to pass out. I still have a final to take, as well as a small three page paper accompany
